Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Sheffield S10
Salary: £95 - £110 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are looking for a positive Cover Supervisor (CS) to support students. You'll help them learn and grow, ensuring each day is productive and engaging. You'll be a key part of our team, helping students to feel comfortable and confident. You'll use your skills to guide them through lessons, answer questions, and maintain a positive classroom atmosphere. Duties of the Role:

1. Supervise and manage classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring students stay on task.
2. Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects at the secondary school level.
3. Maintain a positive and structured learning environment, following school policies.
4. Support students with their learning, ensuring they complete assigned work.
5. Handle classroom behaviour effectively, promoting respect and engagement.
6. Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and classroom behaviour.
7. Assist with general school duties, such as break-time supervision when required.
8. Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning atmosphere for all students.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

1. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
2. A passion for education and supporting students in their learning journey.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Previous experience working with young people in a school or similar setting (preferred but not essential).
5. A degree or relevant qualification is desirable but not required.
6. The ability to deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects.

Additional Requirements:

1. Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
