Cover Supervisor

TeacherActive is currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor to work in mainstream secondary schools in the Mansfield area, with an immediate start. This role covers all year groups from Year 7 to Year 13 in schools with 6th form sections. The Cover Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring the continuity of education for students across all age groups.

The primary responsibility of the Cover Supervisor is to manage classroom activities and ensure students are engaged with the tasks set. Lesson plans will be provided by the teachers you cover for, and all work will be handed to you by your line manager.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working with children aged 3-18 (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, 1-1 coaching)
• Strong classroom management skills
• A genuine enthusiasm for working with children
• The ability to be proactive and involved in the classroom
