We have had an exceptionally busy academic year and anticipate even more activity in the upcoming year. We invite you to be part of this exciting opportunity to contribute to the educational development of students while enjoying a supportive work environment.

We collaborate with many local schools that trust us to provide high-quality staff. These schools offer an inclusive environment for both staff and students and are looking for excellent staff members who can become regular and valued members of their teams. If you are passionate about making a positive impact on students' lives, we encourage you to get in touch. No experience is necessary as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Classroom Management:
    • Supervise and manage the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher.
    • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  2. Student Support:
    • Assist students as needed to ensure their educational development.
  3. Policy Adherence:
    • Uphold school policies and procedures to maintain a structured environment.
  4. Effective Communication:
    • Communicate effectively with teaching staff and administration to support the overall educational mission.

Join us in making a significant impact on students' educational journeys while growing in a supportive and dynamic work environment.

About you:

To be considered for the Classroom Supervisor role, you will:

  • Have previous experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs, such as learning difficulties, autism, and looked-after children.
  • Possess suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care, or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools—these are desirable but not essential.
  • Have strong communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students.
  • Be able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.

ABC Teachers is committed to safeguarding children, young people, and vulnerable adults. We take our responsibilities very seriously. All staff registered will undergo thorough interviewing and referencing checks and must hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service.
