A leading education recruitment agency is seeking a Cover Supervisor to work in a secondary school in Redcar. This full-time role involves delivering pre-planned work to pupils and managing behavior effectively. Job description

Cover Supervisor

  • Start ASAP
  • Full-time, term-time only
  • Long term temporary (potential for permanent)
  • £110 - £120 p/day

Veritas Education are currently working with a secondary school in the Redcar area who are needing a cover supervisor to work on a long-term supply basis. This school is part of a successful multi academy trust now looking to appoint a high calibre Cover Supervisor to join their dedicated team.

Requirements:

  • Confident and forward-thinking individuals
  • Be able to deliver pre-planned work up to 30 pupils at a time
  • The ability to manage behaviour effectively and follow instructions
  • Experience working with secondary pupils aged 11-16 years
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (can be applied for)

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience of coaching and/or delivering sporting/extracurricular activities to pupils of all ages and abilities
  • Relevant experience of working in a secondary school setting
  • Passion for supporting pupils, especially those from disadvantaged background
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine desire to help young people thrive
  • Have a flexible approach to work.
