Location: Kent Various Locations (e.g. Medway, Maidstone, Dartford, Tonbridge & Surrounding Areas)
Start Date: September 2025

What is a Cover Supervisor?

A Cover Supervisor steps into the classroom when teachers are absent, delivering pre-set work and ensuring students remain focused and on task. There s no planning, marking, or assessment involved, making it the perfect role for anyone with classroom experience, or for those looking to take the next step toward a teaching career.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Supervising classes during teacher absences

• Ensuring students stay on task and complete the work set

• Managing classroom behaviour effectively and confidently

• Supporting pupils in their learning where needed

• Reporting back on student engagement and any issues to relevant staff

• Working across different departments and year groups (Key Stage 3 & 4)

What we re looking for:

• A minimum of 6 months experience in a school or similar setting

• CACHE Level 2/3 (preferred, but not essential)

• Strong classroom and behaviour management

• Confidence working with students aged +

• A flexible, proactive attitude and a willingness to work across different schools and year groups
