Overview

JOB TITLE - Cover Supervisor

Prospero Teaching is looking for a Cover Supervisor for a Secondary school in Harrow. The school is a large mainstream secondary with a supportive cover team and teaching staff. The school is going from strength to strength and provides CPD throughout the year. The role will primarily involve Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 long with the potential for extension or permanent placement based on performance.

Contract details

• Location: Harrow, London
• Position: Cover Supervisor
• Type of work: Covering classes in absence of a Class Teacher
• Start date: 13 October 2025
• Duration: Ongoing until further notice
• Contract type: Temporary
• Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Full time/part time: Full time (5 days per week)
• Minimum rate of pay: GBP 95 per day

Experience, training and qualifications

• Recent Graduate, with a 2:1 or higher
• Previous experience working in a UK school
• Up to date safeguarding training issued in the last year

Eligibility to work

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references covering the last 2 years
