Job Title: Cover Supervisor - September 2025 Start
Location: Derby and Surrounding Areas
Salary: 90 - 120 per day (Dependent on Experience)

This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced cover staff to build confidence, develop classroom management skills, and make a real impact on students' learning.



Role Responsibilities:

  • Supervising classes across a range of subjects during teacher absences

  • Ensuring pupils remain on task with the work set by teaching staff

  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Providing feedback to teaching staff and recording any incidents



Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young people is desirable

  • A confident and professional manner

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
