Job summary

An established industry player is seeking dedicated Cover Supervisors for flexible opportunities in secondary schools across the Ribble Valley area. This role involves taking charge in the absence of the teacher, conducting pre-planned lessons, and managing classroom behaviour. Ideal candidates will have experience working with children, excellent communication skills, and a nurturing nature. Qualifications

  • 6 weeks experience working with children in the UK.
  • DBS on update register or willingness to process a new application.

Tempest Resourcing are recruiting Cover Supervisors to support the increasing demand in secondary schools across the area. We offer a variety of temporary support roles, including:

- Day-to-day cover
- Long-term positions
- Part-time & full-time opportunities

Tempest Resourcing are currently looking for experienced cover supervisors that are seeking work in secondary schools. We are working with a number of secondary schools and academies, who are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic cover supervisors with a strong behaviour background. If you have patience, a great sense of humour, and are dedicated on improving the lives of young people, this opportunity may be for you.

THE ROLE:

  • Taking the lead in the absence of the teacher
  • Conduct pre-planned lessons
  • Encourage learning
  • Managing the behaviour within the classroom
  • Managing handover back to the teacher
  • A background or degree in science, English, ESOL, or sports would be beneficial

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:

  • 6 Weeks experience working with children in the UK
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • A nurturing and caring nature
  • Excellent communication skills
  • DBS on update register or be willing to process a new application
  • References for last 2 years work history
  • Up to date CV
