Position: Cover Supervisor
Location: Blackpool and surrounding areas
Salary: £95 - £115 per day
Contract Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

Vida Education is seeking passionate and motivated individuals to join our team as Cover Supervisors. Working in secondary schools across Blackpool and surrounding areas, we offer day-to-day, short-term, and long-term cover supervisor work, with flexibility to suit your availability.

What is a Cover Supervisor?

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise secondary pupils (aged 11-16) in the absence of their regular teacher, delivering pre-set lessons across various subjects. You will manage classroom behaviour, ensuring students remain focused in a safe and productive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Delivering work that has been pre-set by the class teacher and responding to any questions asked during the lesson.
• Managing the behaviour of pupils following the school behaviour policies.
• Reporting back any issues you encounter during the day.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable attitude.
• A calm and organised personality and the ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Previous experience working with children (desirable but not essential; full training is provided).
• A desire to work in education and support students\' growth.

Requirements

• Have UK Right to Work status.
• Hold a degree qualification or equivalent.
• Have high expectations of student achievement and behaviour.
• Complete a registration with Vida Education, including holding a current Enhanced DBS registered with the DBS Update Service, or be prepared to apply for a new Enhanced DBS.
