Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS)
Location: Ashington
Salary: £100 - £120 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Daily Supply, Long-Term

Cover Supervisors play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning by supervising pre-set lessons during teacher absences. This role is ideal for aspiring teachers, recent graduates, or experienced educators seeking flexible classroom-based work.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons to students across various subjects.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Ensure students remain on task and complete learning objectives.
• Record attendance and report back to the relevant teaching staff.
• Adapt to different school settings and follow school policies.

Cover Supervisor (CS) Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor (CS) or working with young people in an educational setting.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to lead confidently.
• A genuine passion for education and supporting young learners.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
• A flexible, resilient, and proactive attitude.
• Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
