Academics Worcestershire are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our team in Kidderminster and the surrounding areas.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring that students stay engaged and motivated to learn. Cover Supervisor - the role. No two days are ever the same!

* Supervise classes during teacher absences, delivering pre-planned lessons effectively

* Foster a positive, productive and disciplined classroom environment

* Maintain student engagement, ensuring they stay focused and complete tasks as assigned

* Provide feedback on student progress, behaviourand classroom dynamics to teachers and staff

* Adapt to various classroom settings, ensuring consistency and continuity in students' learning experience

Cover Supervisor - what we're looking for:

* Strong Leadership & Communication Skills: Able to guide and manage students with confidence

* Classroom Authority: Maintain a calm, authoritative presence to manage diverse groups of students

* UK-Recognised Degree and/ or Experience in Education: Prior experience in a similar supervisory role is advantageous

* Adaptability: Flexible and able to adjust to different classroom environments, student needs, and teaching style

* A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for a new certificate, we can help with this process)

* Commute reliably to schools in Kidderminster and/ or surrounding areas
