Teaching Personnel is looking for confident, ambitious individuals to join schools across Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT) as Cover Supervisors or Higher-Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs). This exciting role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience, develop your teaching skills, and start leading lessons.

About the Role:

1. Deliver pre-prepared lessons and manage classroom behaviour in the absence of a teacher
2. Support students in Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) across a range of subjects
3. Foster a positive learning environment and help students stay engaged and focused
4. Provide one-to-one and small group support when needed
5. Gain first-hand teaching experience and build classroom management skills

Who Can Apply?

1. Are eager to take on teaching responsibilities and progress in their education careers
2. Have experience in education, care, coaching, or youth work (desirable)
3. Demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills
4. Are confident managing classroom behaviour and supporting learners
5. Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) preferred
6. Enhanced DBS check (must be registered on the Update Service)
7. Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration
