We are supporting a secondary school in Halifax that is seeking a confident and organised individual to step into short-term teacher absences and keep student learning on track. No planning, marking, and assessing will be required, just a strong classroom presence, clear instruction, and the ability to engage and manage challenging behaviour.

Duties of the Role:

  • Deliver planned lessons across a range of subjects at secondary level
  • Keep students on task and engaged in the classroom
  • Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Adapt well to different classrooms and groups throughout the week
  • Promote the inclusion of SEND, EAL, NEET pupils and support a culture of equality and participation

About you. We are seeking Staff with:

  • Experience working with young people across school settings
  • Ability to establish strong routines and set clear expectations
