Qualifications

Pay: £90 – £110 per day
Position: Cover Supervisor – Durham
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: Monday to Friday, 32.5 Hours
Contract: Term Time Only – Flexible Working Options

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons to secondary school students in your subject area.
  • Encourage active participation and maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
  • Support the learning needs of all students through inclusive practice.
  • Collaborate with teaching and pastoral staff to support academic and personal development.
  • Take part in training and development opportunities, with the option to work towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Graduates interested in teaching or applying for teacher training.
  • Cover Supervisors or unqualified teachers wishing to move into teaching.
  • PGCE applicants seeking classroom experience before starting training.
  • Aspiring educators considering routes such as School Direct or PGCE with QTS.
