Teaching Personnel is seeking a proactive and adaptable Cover Supervisor to work across secondary schools in the SW18 postcode. As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain engaged and on task with pre-set work.
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure a positive learning environment.
Support students with their work and encourage participation.
Report back on student progress and any issues encountered.
Confident in managing classroom behaviour.
Flexible and able to think on your feet.
Previous experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, TA work, youth support).
Strong communication and organisational skills.
A degree or relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
