Link Education is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors in the Erith area.

Cover Supervisor: The Role

The Cover Supervisor will undertake specified teaching roles, including delivering lessons and leading the classroom. Responsibilities include keeping students engaged with tasks aligned with the national curriculum.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to teach, motivate, and inspire students, collaborating effectively with teachers and teaching assistants.

Cover Supervisor: The Ideal Candidate

• Passion for working in Education
• Commitment to a stimulating and safe learning environment
• Strong understanding of safeguarding
• Confidence in delivering lessons with a good knowledge of the curriculum
• Ability to manage classrooms and monitor behaviour effectively
• Understanding of SEN or experience managing challenging behaviour (desirable)
• Qualifications in education and teaching are desirable; QTS is not required
• Experience with the curriculum and full role responsibilities
• Strong classroom experience and references
• Valid Enhanced DBS check, registered with the DBS Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
• Professional, reliable, and punctual
• Experience in the UK and understanding of safeguarding in secondary schools
