Teaching Personnel is seeking a proactive and adaptable Cover Supervisor to provide general classroom cover across secondary schools in the Dulwich area. This role is ideal for individuals with strong classroom management skills who enjoy working in an educational environment without the responsibility of full teaching duties.
Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring students remain on task with pre-set work.
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
Provide a positive learning environment and support student engagement.
Assist with administrative tasks related to cover lessons when required.
Experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, youth work, or classroom support).
Confidence managing classroom behaviour and delivering pre-prepared lessons.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Flexibility to work across different year groups and subjects.
A degree or relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
