GSL Education are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to support a thriving school in Swinton. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with young people and are looking to gain classroom experience in a school setting.

As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will be responsible for delivering pre-set work to classes in the absence of a teacher, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring students remain engaged and on task.

As a Cover Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher.
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

To be successful as a Cover Supervisor, you must:

• Have prior experience working with young people, ideally within a school environment.

• Be adaptable, reliable, and confident in leading a classroom.
• Be committed to safeguarding and child protection.
• Hold a valid, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).
• Provide a full CV covering the last 10 years with any gaps clearly explained.
