Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS)
Location: North Weald Bassett
Salary Range: £90 - £140per day(Depending on Experience)
Start Time: September 2025
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will be responsible for delivering teacher-planned lessons during staff absences, ensuring that learning continues seamlessly. You will play a vital role in maintaining structure and engagement in the classroom.

Your Role Will Include:

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Manage classroom behaviour and uphold school expectations.
• Ensure students remain on task and engaged with learning activities.
• Support the school’s ethos and promote positive behaviour and attitudes.
• Liaise with teaching staff regarding pupil progress and lesson outcomes.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a primary school is desirable.
• Confident classroom presence and ability to manage pupil behaviour effectively.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to supporting children.
• A degree, Level 3 qualification, or significant school-based experience preferred.
• A genuine interest in supporting children’s learning and development.
• Have anupdated CV(covering thelast ten years barring any unexplained gaps) andan enhanced DBSregistered to theUpdate Service(or be willing to apply for one).
