Role Overview:
As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will be responsible for delivering pre-set lesson plans in the absence of the regular class teacher. You’ll manage classroom behaviour, keep students on task, and ensure a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities as a Cover Supervisor:

• Supervise classes during teacher absences and deliver pre-prepared lesson materials.
• Maintain order and engagement in the classroom.
• Provide general support to students across a range of subjects.
• Report on student behaviour and lesson outcomes.
• Uphold school policies and promote a positive learning environment.

Requirements for the Role:

• Experience working with young people in an educational or youth-related setting is desirable.
• Confidence managing classroom behaviour and engaging students.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A flexible, proactive, and professional approach to work.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• A full CV covering the last 10 years with any gaps clearly explained.
