Pay Rate: £93 – £115 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work in a range of supportive schools across Bolsover. This role is ideal for Cover Supervisor (CS), working with young people who are looking to gain classroom experience before entering teacher training.

As a Cover Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising whole classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Delivering pre-prepared lessons and ensuring students remain engaged and on task.
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Reporting back to senior staff on student progress and any concerns.

Requirements for Cover Supervisor:

• Have previous experience working with children or young people in any capacity.
• Possess strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Be flexible, confident, and able to adapt quickly to different classroom environments.
• Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for a new one).
• Provide a full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any employment gaps over the past 10 years.
