GSL Education are seeking reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in schools in Bawtry. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced support staff looking to gain hands-on classroom experience and make a positive difference in students' educational journeys as a Cover Supervisor(CS).

As a Cover Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising students during the short-term absence of teaching staff.
• Delivering pre-prepared work and ensuring pupils remain on task.
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Assisting students with their learning where possible.
• Reporting back to the regular class teacher regarding progress and behaviour.

To be successful as a Cover Supervisor, you will need to:

• Have previous experience working with secondary-aged students (11–16), ideally in a school environment.
• Possess strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Be confident, flexible, and quick to adapt to new settings.
• Have a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
• Provide a full, 10-year career history with any gaps clearly explained.
