Cover Supervisor - Cirencester - Immediate Start - Secondary School

Location: Cirencester

Start Date: ASAP

Daily Rate: 100-130 (depending on experience)

Academics Ltd is partnering with a highly regarded secondary school in Cirencester to recruit proactive and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors.

If you're passionate about working with young people, this role will allow you to oversee lessons, support student learning, and contribute to maintaining high standards of behaviour when teachers are absent. The school also offers School Direct Teacher Training for exceptional Cover Supervisors after one year of service, providing a clear pathway into teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise pre-assigned lessons in the absence of the teacher
2. Manage student behaviour to ensure a positive and productive learning environment
3. Build strong relationships with students and staff, acting as a role model
4. Be adaptable and cover various subjects across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)

Ideal Cover Supervisor Candidate:

1. Previous experience working with young people or in a school setting (desirable but not essential)
