Cover Supervisor
Location: Bristol
Pay Range: GBP100 - GBP110
Contract Type: Temp

We are seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to join a supportive secondary school environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young people and is looking to gain school-based experience before pursuing a career in teaching.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons to secondary students (KS3 KS4) in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. You will ensure that pupils remain on task, manage classroom behaviour, and provide feedback to teaching staff on lesson outcomes.

This is a highly rewarding position for proactive individuals with strong classroom presence, patience, and an ability to build positive rapport with students.

The Role Cover Supervisor
  • Supervise classes across subjects using provided lesson plans
  • Manage behaviour and classroom expectations in line with school policies
  • Support students with learning and engagement during cover sessions
Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Have prior experience working with young people or in a school setting
  • Remain calm under pressure and manage classroom behaviour confidently
  • Be available full-time and open to varied subject coverage
  • Hold an enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one
  • Be eligible to work in the UK
