Job Title: Cover Supervisor - Bexleyheath

Location: England, Greater London, Bexleyheath

Job Type: Contract, Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £100 - £115 Per day

Benefits: PAYE

Job Duties:
  • Supervising students in the absence of a teacher
  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
  • Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and providing support to students
  • Assisting with administrative tasks as required
  • Reporting back on student progress and behaviour to teaching staff
Required Qualifications:
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain discipline and manage classroom dynamics
Education:

A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Experience:

Prior experience working with children or young people is essential

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding of classroom management techniques
  • Ability to follow and deliver lesson plans effectively
  • Strong communication skills with students and teaching staff
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Teaching Assistant qualification - Level 3
  • First Aid certification - Not essential
Working Conditions:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
