We are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to work across both our Primary and Secondary settings to join our diverse and friendly school. We currently have a team of Cover Supervisors and pride ourselves on the fact that many previous post-holders have used this post as a stepping stone to a career in education. This post is truly important to us: we recognise that the skills you need daily as a cover supervisor match that of a teacher, which is why it is remunerated on the Unqualified Teacher Pay Scale.
Applicants need to be well organised, resourceful, punctual and flexible. They should demonstrate their ability to work with colleagues and pupils effectively and must enjoy working with children and young people. The successful candidate will need to be able to work across both Primary and Secondary settings.
The successful applicant must be committed to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and will be DBS and DBA checked. They will have strong IT skills, good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
