Location: Bath (& surrounding areas)

Start Date: ASAP & Ongoing

Key Stage: 3 & 4

Salary: £475 to £550 per week (Paid weekly, PAYE, Pension, CPD)

About the Role

Academics are seeking Cover Supervisors in the Bath area to meet the demand for covering absent teachers. We offer day-to-day, long-term, and permanent roles, available on a part-time or full-time basis to suitable applicants.

What is a Cover Supervisor?

Cover supervisors are trained school staff responsible for supervising students carrying out pre-prepared exercises during short-term teacher absences. Their main role is to manage classrooms and ensure students stay on task with the assigned work.

Typical Responsibilities
  1. Supervising lessons that have been planned and set for the class.
  2. Managing pupil behaviour and implementing the school's behaviour policy as needed.
  3. Providing cover across various subjects and key stages with flexibility.
  4. Offering 1:1 support and answering questions about school processes and procedures.
  5. Ensuring pupils complete their work and stay focused.
