About this Role

Grade 8 £29,719 to £31,691 per annum pro rata

• 33.75 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
• Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 3.45 pm
• Temporary to 31 August 2026

The role involves supervising the delivery of a prepared lesson in the event of the short-term absence of the class teacher. An ability to provide cover in all subjects and for classes in years 7 to 11 is required, however, a particular interest in Maths and/or Science would be an advantage.

An ability to relate well to young people and work using your own initiative is essential. Experience of managing the behaviour of groups of young people would be advantageous. You will be part of an experienced and supportive team of Cover Supervisors. Actual salary £23,318 to £24,865 per annum.
