Cover Supervisor and PE Technician - The Grange School

Location: Aylesbury

Term time only: Yes

Salary Type: Bucks pay

Salary details: Bucks Pay Range 3 Point 16: £22,566 approximately - Point 20 £24,207 approximately

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: 35 hours per week 39 weeks per year (term time only plus staff training days)

Judged to be a Good School by Ofsted in April 2024, we are a mixed, non-selective 11-18 Foundation secondary school situated in the market town of Aylesbury and ten minutes from the Chiltern Hills – an area of outstanding natural beauty. Required for September 2025 or earlier if possible, we are looking to hire an enthusiastic, motivating and effective Cover Supervisor to cover across Key Stages 3, 4 & 5 and to also fulfil the role of PE technician.

You will provide effective supervision of classes during periods of teacher absence, ensuring students remain focused, respond to questions and stay on task.

About you

The ideal candidate will have the skills and abilities to engage and enthuse different types of learners to enable students to achieve the lesson objectives and be able to offer support with learning as appropriate.
