We are currently recruiting experienced Cover Supervisors for day-to-day supply roles across Secondary Schools in Abbey Wood and surrounding areas.

The Role of a Cover Supervisor

The Cover Supervisor will undertake the specified teaching responsibilities, including delivering lessons and managing the classroom. You will be responsible for engaging students with tasks aligned with the national curriculum.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to teach, motivate, and inspire students, working collaboratively with teachers and teaching assistants.

Candidate Requirements

• Passion for working in education and supporting a safe, stimulating learning environment.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures.
• Confidence in delivering lessons and a solid knowledge of the curriculum.
• Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively.
• Experience with SEN or managing challenging behavior is desirable.
• Qualifications in education and teaching are preferred; QTS is not required.
• Relevant UK classroom experience and references.
• Valid Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to apply upon shortlisting.
• Professionalism, reliability, and punctuality.
• Understanding of safeguarding and safe practice in secondary education.
