Cover Supervisor

Are you passionate about education and keen to gain classroom experience? A school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join their team. This role begins April 2025.

Duties as a Cover Supervisor:

1. Supervise classes across different subjects following pre-prepared lesson plans.
2. Maintain a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
3. Support students with their learning and ensure lesson objectives are met.
4. Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.

Ideal Cover Supervisor:

1. Has strong communication and classroom management skills as a Cover Supervisor.
2. Is confident, adaptable, and able to engage with students of all abilities.
3. Has experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, youth work) – desirable but not essential.
4. Is looking to develop a career in education – ideal for aspiring teachers.
