Responsibilities

• Supervise classes across a range of subjects.
• Ensure students follow the teacher's lesson plan.
• Maintain discipline and a safe, respectful learning environment.
• Provide students with necessary support to complete tasks (without actively teaching).

Job description

The main role of a Cover Supervisor is to supervise classes across a range of subjects, ensuring students follow the teacher's lesson plan. This key individual will maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe, respectful learning environment, they will also provide students with necessary support to complete tasks but not actively teach or assess work.

We are looking for an individual who is confident in managing groups of students in a classroom setting. This individual will have good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to follow instructions and enforce school policies. They will also be professional, responsible and able to work independently.
