Do you have the confidence to deliver a range of lessons within a secondary school?

All lessons are pre-planned and materials are provided. Your role is to confidently deliver these lessons and manage classroom behaviour effectively.

We are collaborating with an excellent school that values respect and resilience, seeking a reliable cover supervisor to work on a flexible basis.

The role entails:

• Delivering a range of pre-planned lessons across various subjects in the secondary curriculum (no planning or marking required)
• Managing classroom behaviour to maintain a calm and positive learning environment
• Keeping calm under pressure and escalating concerns appropriately
• Communicating effectively with staff, demonstrating confidence and positivity

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience as a cover supervisor or relevant experience working with secondary-aged children
• Is adaptable and able to remain calm in stressful situations
• Has a basic knowledge of the national curriculum
• Can confidently lead lessons and provide accurate feedback to senior staff

You will represent Teaching Personnel and are expected to be professional, kind, and hardworking at all times.

Pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary role, with potential for permanency later.
