Job summary

A recruitment company is seeking an experienced Cover Supervisor to manage classroom activities and ensure students stay engaged with their work. The successful candidate will have prior experience in a secondary school setting, strong organizational skills, and the ability to tailor lesson delivery to meet student needs. This is a temporary role based in Tewkesbury, with a salary of £105 - £110 per day.

Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Job Type: Temporary

Duration: Ongoing

Location: Tewkesbury

Salary: £105 - £110 per day

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30am – 3:30pm

Core Education is currently working with schools in the Tewkesbury area who have requirements for a Cover Supervisor.

Cover Supervisor Key Responsibilities:

• Taking attendance registers
• Maintaining classroom discipline
• Supervising students, ensuring the students remain engaged and focused on pre-prepared work
• Support learning and provide guidance and support to students

Cover Supervisor Experience:

• Confident in tailoring lesson delivery to accommodate students
• Previous experience working within a secondary school setting as a Cover Supervisor
• Qualification within Education is desirable
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

The successful Cover Supervisor will need an Enhanced DBS or be willing to apply for one.
