Job summary

Exclusive Education is recruiting a Cover Supervisor to support KS3 and KS4 across Stockport schools. The role offers daily rates from 100 to 120 depending on experience and involves delivering set work, supporting safeguarding, and maintaining student progress.

Ideal candidates will have TA or Cover Supervising background, relevant qualifications, and eligibility to work in the UK. DBS with update service or willingness to apply is required.

Qualifications

• Have relevant experience in TA or Cover Supervising roles that demonstrates reliability.
• Hold a relevant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3) (desirable).
• Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
• Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years.
• Excellent knowledge of the curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Previous KS3 and KS4 experience.
• Two references working with children.
• Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.

Responsibilities

• Provide cover supervision across KS3 and KS4 as required by partner schools.
• Deliver tasks set by class teachers and maintain student engagement.
• Adhere to safeguarding policies and school procedures.
• Liaise with consultants and schools to ensure smooth placement.

The ideal candidate will have previous Cover Supervisor experience and will be confident undertaking work to the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
