A leading academy trust seeks a Cover Supervisor to manage classrooms across Key Stage 3 and 4. The successful candidate will ensure a productive learning environment, support student engagement, and contribute to the school's administration and attendance management. This role offers opportunities for professional development and career progression within the trust.
We are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to supervise classes across Key Stage 3 and 4to play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our School and the continued learning of our students. When a teacher is absent, the successful candidate will step in to manage the classroom, ensuring students are engaged with the cover work provided and maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.You will also need to manage students' behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy, ensuring that students are on task and manage any immediate problems according to school procedures.
The successful candidate will also play a key role in attendance management, pastoral support, examination processes and provide general support for the administration team.
The role of Cover Supervisor demands flexibility and initiative and this is an ideal opportunity for candidates to demonstrate their organisation skills, flexibility and confidence in dealing with a classroom situation.
