Are you a recent graduate looking to gain valuable classroom experience before starting teacher training? We are seeking enthusiastic and confident Graduate Cover Supervisors to join a supportive secondary school team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates in any subject area who are considering a career in education. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a Cover Supervisor:

Deliver pre-prepared lessons to classes in the absence of the regular teacher.

Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain engaged in their learning.

Provide feedback to teachers on class progress and any issues that arise.

Cover a variety of subjects – no planning or marking required.

Gain hands-on experience working in a busy school environment.

Are considering a PGCE, School Direct, or other teacher training route.

Have strong communication and leadership skills as a Cover Supervisor.

Are confident, adaptable, and able to manage classroom behaviour.

Have some experience working with young people (e.g., in school, coaching, tutoring, mentoring – desirable but not essential).

Are proactive, professional, and reliable.
