Job summary

GSL Education is seeking reliable Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Spalding and surrounding areas. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, supervise classes and help students stay engaged while following school policies.

New to education? Training and ongoing support are provided to build confidence and classroom skills. Opportunities range from occasional daily supply to regular work, with a competitive daily rate of £100-£120.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
• Confident, reliable and comfortable working with secondary-aged students.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries.
• Willingness to learn and develop within an education environment.

GSL Education is looking for reliable and confident Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Spalding and the surrounding areas.

New to education? Don't worry. We can provide training, guidance and valuable on-the-job experience to help you build your confidence and develop your classroom skills.

The Role

• Deliver pre-planned lessons to students aged 11-16.
• Supervise classes and ensure students remain engaged with their work.
• Support students with their learning and manage classroom behaviour.
• Follow school policies and procedures.
• Build experience working in different secondary school environments.
• Flexible opportunities ranging from occasional daily supply to more regular work.

We are looking for:

• Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
• Someone confident, reliable and comfortable working with secondary-aged students.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• An understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries.
• A willingness to learn and develop within an education environment.
• The ability to travel to schools across Spalding and the surrounding area.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
