Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS)
Location: Rotherham (S66)
Salary: £95 - £100 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Are you an adaptable and confident individual looking to gain classroom experience in a secondary school setting? GSL Education are seeking Cover Supervisors to work across schools in Rotherham, providing essential support in the absence of teachers.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining classroom continuity by delivering pre-planned lessons and managing student behaviour. You will supervise classes across a range of subjects, ensuring students remain engaged and on task during teacher absences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-set lesson plans across various subjects.
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a productive learning environment.
• Support students in completing tasks and provide guidance where needed.
• Follow school policies and procedures to maintain a structured classroom.
• Liaise with teaching staff to provide feedback on student engagement and progress.
• Uphold high standards of safeguarding and student well-being.

Requirements:

• Must hold a degree-level qualification OR have UK classroom experience.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students across different subjects.
• A flexible and proactive approach to working in schools.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• A passion for education and a desire to support student learning.
