Cover Supervisor

September 2025

I am recruiting a full-time, term-time only Cover Supervisor who will cover for absent teachers across the school. The role mainly involves supervising pupils aged 11-18 years, with some duties involving younger pupils.

The successful individual will hold:

• Experience working with or raising young adults and children
• Organizational skills and confidence to manage a classroom
• Knowledge and experience of how technology can support learning

Duties include:

• Covering lessons, break duties, and other supervision duties in the absence of teachers and assistant teachers
• Registering pupils in class
• Ensuring pupils remain on task with cover work set by absent teachers
• Maintaining high standards of behaviour in line with school policy

Rate depends on qualifications and experience.

All pay rates quoted are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the potential to become permanent in the future.
