Flexible Secondary Cover Supervisors – Sittingbourne

Full or Part Time – Starting September 2025
£110 – £125 per day (dependent on experience)

We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Cover Supervisors to support our partner secondary schools in Sittingbourne from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates considering a career in teaching, or for experienced supervisors looking to build on their classroom experience across a range of subjects and settings.

Whether you’re looking for short-term flexibility or long-term consistency, we have roles to suit you!

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Lead pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects in KS3 and KS4.
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a focused, respectful learning environment.
• Support student engagement and understanding in the absence of the class teacher.
• Work closely with school staff and leadership to maintain high standards and contribute to the wider school community.
• Be a positive role model, promoting good behaviour and enthusiasm for learning.

You’ll need to bring:

• Experience working with young people in a school or similar setting (or a strong desire to develop this experience).
• Confidence to lead a class, manage behaviour effectively and engage students.
• A proactive and flexible approach – ready to step into a range of subject areas.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
• A team-focused mindset and a genuine interest in education.
