Teaching Personnel is seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor for schools across Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks. This role involves stepping into classes when teachers are absent, supervising students, and maintaining discipline. We are seeking a confident, reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to work in schools across Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with teaching experience or a background in classroom supervision.
About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom when teachers are absent, ensuring lessons continue smoothly. You will supervise students, maintain classroom discipline and deliver pre-prepared lesson plans across a range of subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise classes during teacher absences
Deliver pre-set work to students and ensure they remain on task
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Report any issues or incidents to senior staff
Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience in teaching, training or classroom supervision
Confident in managing groups of students (Key Stage 3 to 5)
Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
Flexible and able to travel between schools in Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks
