Job Overview

Melior Community Academy is looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to join our academy in September 2025 on a permanent, full-time basis.

Your new role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise pupil learning within the academy. Your responsibilities include responding to questions, assisting students with set activities, and maintaining classroom standards of behaviour. You will also work alongside teaching staff to support departments and ensure the smooth running of the school. ICT literacy and proficiency in using various software packages are essential.

Hours: 37 hours per week / Term Time only (38 weeks)

Melior Community Academy is a coeducational secondary school in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire. Opened in January 2013 for students aged 11 to 16, it is a fully inclusive academy with a warm ethos and high aspirations. The school has recently been rebuilt with excellent facilities and is conveniently located for commuting.
