Job summary

Wyvern St Edmund’s Academy in Salisbury seeks a Cover Supervisor to support a mix of cover requirements across subjects, manage classrooms, and ensure lesson outcomes in the absence of the teacher.

You will work as part of a small team, bringing enthusiasm and professionalism to support students and contribute to our Christian ethos and academy vision.

This permanent role is 35 hours per week during term time (39 weeks a year), with a salary Grade F pro rata £20,466.

• Introduce and support cover work across a full range of subjects.
• Ensure lesson outcomes are achieved in the absence of the classroom teacher.

Job description

We are seeking exceptional individuals to join our team as a Cover Supervisor, taking on this highly rewarding and valued role within our school. Working within a small team you will play a fundamental role in supporting a mixture of cover requirements across a full range of subject areas.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and professional person who can effectively manage classroom behaviour, introduce and support cover work and ensure lesson outcomes are achieved in the absence of the classroom teacher across a full range of subjects.

This position is:

permanent

35 hours per week, with a 8am start time.

Term time only (39 weeks per year)

Salary: MLP Grade F, FTE salary £28,154. pro rata salary £20,466
