St Matthew’s RC High School seeks an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to coordinate class cover and support teaching staff. This permanent, full-time role is term-time only, fostering a collaborative environment. Successful candidates will demonstrate commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education practices.
Salary: NJC Grade 5, SCP 13-19 (FTE £28,163 to £31,067) actual salary approx. £24,723 to £27,273 per annum
The Governors of St Matthew’s RC High School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, hard working, team player, who will join us in the role of a Cover Supervisor.
Purpose of Post:
• To complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for the co-ordination and provision of cover and class supervision for absent teaching staff as directed by the Cover Manager on a daily basis.
• Deliver pre-planned cover work as directed by the Head of Department, ensuring that feedback is provided for the absent member of staff.
• When not needed for cover duties, provide support within the classroom/department as directed.
Contract Type/ Working Pattern: Full time, permanent, term time only + 5 days
Start Date: As soon as possible
Reporting to: Assistant Headteacher (Academic)
