Monarch Education is recruiting Supply Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Malmesbury and surrounding areas from September.

You will supervise classes, deliver pre-planned work, manage behaviour, and help pupils stay focused in a dynamic classroom setting. This flexible role suits graduates, experienced cover staff, teaching assistants or sports coaches seeking local, ongoing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people, ideally in a school or education setting.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to complete registration, compliance and safeguarding checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervising classes across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Delivering pre-planned work set by the class teacher.
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Supporting pupils to stay focused, engaged and on task.
• Promoting a safe, calm and positive learning environment.
• Providing feedback to teaching staff where required.
• Working across a range of subjects and year groups.
• Building positive relationships with pupils and school staff.

Are you a confident, adaptable and reliable Cover Supervisor looking for flexible supply work from September?

Monarch Education are working with secondary schools in the Malmesbury area who are looking for enthusiastic Supply Cover Supervisors to support pupils and staff from the start of the new academic year.

The role

As a Supply Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring pupils remain on task with the work provided and maintaining a positive learning environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, experienced cover staff, teaching assistants, sports coaches, youth workers or anyone with strong classroom management skills who is looking to gain further experience within education on a flexible supply basis.

You will be:

• Supervising classes across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
