Cover Supervisor - September 2025 - Greenwich

- Suitable for a recent Graduate looking to develop a career in schools or an experienced Cover Supervisor

A qualified and experienced Cover Supervisor is needed in a Mixed Secondary School based in Greenwich, South East London to start September. The school are looking for someone with strong confidence to work across all year groups and all key subjects.


This will be a full time role, Monday to Friday and working hours will be 8.15am until 4pm

General responsibilities will include but not be limited to; efficiently setting up lessons, managing behaviour of pupils and effectively working as part of a team.


The rates of pay for this Cover Supervisor position will be between £130 and £160 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.


The School
- An 'Outstanding' Secondary School based in Greenwich.
- It is a mixed, 11 - 18, non-selective school with a wide demographic of pupils and staff.
- 90% of students stay in education or employment after Key Stage 4.
- The site has its own dedicated SEN Support Centre and a variety of sports facilities.
- Ofsted have noted there is positive culture of learning and a strong sense of community.

Requirements

You're encouraged to apply if you're a recent Graduate or experienced Cover Supervisor.

You're also welcome to apply if you're a British trained Cover Supervisor or overseas trained Cover Supervisor.

* Right to work in the UK

* UK Bachelor's Degree or overseas equivalent
* Experience of working with children/young people or as a Cover Supervisor in UK schools
