Salary: 120-$150 per day (dependent on experience)

Role Overview:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting the continuity of education by supervising classes in the absence of regular teachers. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that pre-set work is completed, maintain a positive learning environment, and manage classroom behavior in line with school policies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and manage students during the absence of the class teacher.
2. Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task.
3. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
4. Manage classroom behavior effectively, following the school's behavior management policies.
5. Provide feedback to teaching staff on student engagement and progress.
6. Support students with their learning as required.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in a school or similar educational setting is desirable but not essential.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to manage groups of students and maintain discipline.
4. Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic school environment.
5. A proactive and enthusiastic approach to working with young people.
6. An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one prior to starting).
