Job description

TeacherActive are currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor, based in Merseyside. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months experience in a similar role, excellent classroom and behavioural management skills as well as being reliable, considerate and punctual.

We work with numerous schools around the North West region, covering from KS1 up to KS5, allowing you to find the perfect role! This role requires adaptability as you will be working with students of different ability, age and classroom settings.

This opportunity is a great way to gain experience, find a long term/perm role and find what works best for you! We offer full time and part time positions, with consultants available 24/7 to help with any questions or concerns.

The successful candidate will be passionate about helping young people learn, reliable and approachable - if this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you! Your main duties will be to care for a class in the absence of the class teacher, making sure all health and safety regulations are in place and academically supporting the students. For this particular role, there will be no marking or planning necessary, all your lessons will be written out by the class teacher and conducted by yourself.
