Job summary

Bright Star Talent Limited is currently looking for an experienced Cover Supervisor to join a secondary school in Anfield, Liverpool, starting this September.

This role would suit someone who already has experience working in a school and is confident stepping into different classrooms, managing behaviour and keeping students focused when their usual teacher is unavailable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor or within a secondary school
• Experience managing classrooms and maintaining good behaviour
• Confident working with students across different year groups
• Ability to follow lesson plans and deliver work effectively
• Strong communication and organisation skills
• A calm, professional and consistent approach
• Someone who genuinely enjoys working with young people
• A good understanding of safeguarding within a school environment

Responsibilities

• Walk into a classroom, manage behaviour and keep learners focused when the usual teacher is unavailable
• Build positive relationships with students to support continued learning
• Follow provided lesson plans and deliver work effectively
